Are you tired of holding it all together?
Affirming Telehealth Therapy in North Carolina, Colorado, and Wisconsin
ADHD/AUDHD | Trauma | Burnout
Therapy for the ones who always seem fine, but suffer in silence.
You've done the deep breathing. The self-help books. The pretending everything is okay. Yet somehow, the stress, the anxiety, or the emotional weight is still there.
You move through the world differently than the people around you, but you can't quite explain why. You've been labeled an overachiever, even though you feel completely exhausted underneath it all.
You don't have to keep carrying that alone.
At Sacred Moon Counseling, I offer therapy for teens (12+), adults, and college students navigating ADHD, trauma, burnout, identity development, and the quiet cost of always being the capable one. I see clients virtually throughout North Carolina, Colorado, and Wisconsin.
Committed to creating a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive therapeutic space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, honoring each person’s identity and lived experience.
Does this sound like you?
Do you feel like you think or move through the world differently than the people around you but can't quite explain why?
Have you been labeled an overachiever, even though you feel exhausted or burned out inside?
Are you high-achieving on the outside but struggling to hold everything together on the inside?
Having a hard time navigating your emotions, or feel judged for having them in the first place?
Are you navigating societal pressures, or trying to decide between tradition and choosing your own path?
Are you caught between what your family or culture expects from you and what you actually want for yourself?
Are you thinking about dating but unsure you're ready, or feeling like you need to work on yourself first?
Do you find yourself up at night with racing thoughts you can't quiet?
Are you concerned about your teen, and not sure how to reach them?
If any of these spoke to you, you’re in the right place.
Who I Work With
Whether your teen is struggling to keep up, pulling away, or carrying more than they're letting on, this is a space where they can actually say what's going on. No judgment, no pressure. Just real support at a time when it matters most.
Academic pressure, identity questions, relationships, figuring out who you are away from home, college brings a lot at once! Therapy can help you stay grounded and find your footing through all major transitions.
High-functioning on the outside, exhausted on the inside. Whether you're navigating burnout, big life transitions, or patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard you try, you deserve support that actually meets the complexity of your life.
Snapshot of Dr. Mary’s Approach
PhD · LCMHCS · LCAS · LPC · NCC | 11+ Years Experience | Licensed in NC, CO, & WI
My practice is grounded in the belief that the therapy space is sacred, a place where people can share their innermost thoughts without performing, minimizing, or translating themselves for anyone. I draw from ACT, DBT, IFS, somatic work, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused practices. As a black woman therapist, multicultural competency and cultural sensitivity are at the forefront of everything I do.
I'm dual licensed in mental health and substance use, which means I can hold the full complexity of what you're navigating, not just one piece of it.
